I’ve been using this collagen regularly for over a year and have gone through four tubs. I’ve always been happy with it, but my latest tub seems very different.
The powder no longer dissolves properly in cold water. As soon as it hits the water, it forms soft, gelatinous clumps that look and feel like pieces of cooked egg white. The outside becomes slightly rubbery, but when you break the lumps open, there’s still dry powder inside.
Even with stirring or blending, it doesn’t dissolve smoothly like previous tubs did and leaves partially dissolved lumps in the drink.
I’m disappointed because I’ve never had this issue before, and something about the texture seems to have changed.

I have been taking Correxiko marine collagen powder since 2023 along with Ultra Omega 3. I had previously used another brand but I liked that Correxiko was completely natural and sourced from wild caught fish and not farmed and was free from sweetners additives .
I initially purchased the Lisa Snowdon box, so received a lovely recipe book, scoop and mixer which is very effective if you wish to add your collagen to hot or cold drinks. I personally add it to my overnight oats, it blends easily and is completely tasteless. The difference I have noticed in my skin, hair and nails is amazing. My skin is glowing, plumper and my hair thicker and glossier. My nails were previously starting to thin, however they are strong and healthy.
I have just purchased the new LED mask so I am looking forward to seeing the impact the combination of the 2 has on my skin.
